Yijun Deng is a Chinese artist whose diverse artistic journey has spanned dance dramas, screen dance, environmental theater, and immersive dance theater.
Throughout her career, Deng has undergone seven years of professional dancer training. Since 2018, she has transitioned towards the path of choreography, exploring innovative intersections with various art forms and disciplines. Deng's artistic evolution initially stemmed from traditional dance theaters but, influenced by the challenges posed by the covid, she increasingly delved into the realm of screen dance.
After countless hours of practice and several collaborations with artists from other fields, Deng gradually realized her current aspiration: to establish a profound connection with her audience, irrespective of their artistic backgrounds. Driven by this desire, she has shifted her focus towards immersive theater.
